Intermediate Civil Project Engineer/Licensee

​

Role

As an intermediate Project Engineer/Licensee in our Calgary office, your role will be to work with the management team and the rest of the support staff to successfully deliver projects on time/budget to clients in the municipal and land development industries. You will take the lead on evaluating scope, provide design direction and represent the firm in day to day dealings with clients and external agencies. In addition, you will work with and support the business development, relationship management and marketing aspects of the firm.

                                                                                                                                                     

Qualifications

• P.Eng with an accredited Bachelor’s Degree and eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).

• Or a P.L.(Eng.) or P.Tech.(Eng.) with an accredited 2 year post-secondary diploma in Civil or Municipal Engineering and eligible for registration with the Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) or with APEGA.

• 7 + years of experience in engineering disciplines including municipal and land development projects

• Experience in the design and construction of transportation infrastructure, earthworks, piped systems, and storm drainage systems.

• Experience with AutoCad Civil 3D and hydrologic modeling (PCSWMM) an asset.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour

• Entrepreneurial drive and strong business development skills

• Strong technical skills and attention to detail

• Candidates with less experience but who are able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and have strong references may be considered
